We believe the key to achieve a well funtioning management team is for each manager to have a solid understanding of their own role in the organisation as well as the employees’ different roles.
Another important issue is that the management team needs to be familiar with applicable laws and regulations related to the workplace, what is expected of them under these laws, and what the managers can expect from their colleagues, employees and employer.
However, the most important point is perhaps the managers’ ability to motivate the employees and help develop an organisation where everyone in the group is content and productive. They should spur cooperation and good relations between the employees, and consciously use techniques that improve communication on a one-to-one basis as well as in larger groups.
